About the Destinations

You will arrive in the capital, San José, to be whisked away to the first leg of your journey to the Arenal/La Fortuna region. There you can take in the sights the volcano has to offer while enjoying the relaxing effects of the nearby hot springs.

Next, you will head to the Monteverde Cloud Forest where a Quaker Settlement resides and the wildlife in its protected areas abound. Your next stop will be at Tamarindo Beach, one of the most popular beach destinations in the country.

The Itinerary

Days 1-3 | San José & Arenal

Day 01: Arrive in Costa Rica. Costa Rica Travel Pros representative greets you at the airport to shuttle you to your hotel in San José.

Day 02: An SUV will pick you up at your hotel, driving you to Arenal Volcano. You check in to your hotel in La Fortuna, overlooking the volcano where we have planned a day filled with outdoor adventure set to one of the most picturesque landscapes in the country.

Day 03: Spend the day luxuriating in the spa or at the hot springs resort. Take advantage of one of the many holistic wellness treatments available if you want to really pamper yourself.

Days 4 & 5 | Monteverde

Day 04: You will continue your journey North. Today, you will arrive at the famous Quaker reserve in Monteverde Cloud Forest. You will be a guest at one of the exquisite hotels in the area.

Day 05: A local guide will take you to the reserve for a nature tour. This is really the only way to truly enjoy it, as you will get to see animals and plants the untrained eye would never spot.

Days 6 – 10 | Playa Tamarindo & Back

Day 06: Today you will head to Tamarindo Beach, located in the Northwestern shoreline of Costa Rica. You can enjoy white-sand beaches and luxurious jungles from this spot.

Day 07: The underwater wonders of the region await you today. You will be picked up at the hotel for a boat ride to some of the best snorkeling in the area.

Day 08: Free day to explore the nearby attractions or book another tour.

Day 09: Today you head back to San Jose. The rental car will be picked up at the landing strip. You will be met upon your arrival and taken to the hotel.

Day 10: Today you will be picked up two hours prior to your scheduled departure time and taken to the international airport for your flight back home.
