Located 59 miles from San Jose and only 24 miles for La Fortuna; Ciudad Quesada lies in the San Carlos plain and is one of the country’s most agricultural fertile areas and the center of meat and dairy production.
The city has excellent climate and services such as a fully equipped hospital, schools, universities and banks.
Although there are no real tourist attractions in the city, many visitors use Ciudad Quesada as a stopover while touring the surrounding areas.
