Mountain Paradise Hotel

Mountain Paradise Hotel was built to satisfy the growing demand of first class accommodations in the area of the Arenal Volcano.

Located only 6 kilometers from downtown La Fortuna and 800 meters away from the main road, Mountain Paradise Hotel provides exceptional views of the volcano from anywhere in the property and the tranquility of a mountain top resort.  

The first phase of this all-suite hotel consists of 12 modules that house two Junior Suites and 3 modules of two-bedroom Suites, a restaurant with capacity for 80 people, adult and children’s swimming pool, jacuzzi and wet bar. 

The second phase which will be finished in December of 2007 will include 14 modules with two Junior Suites and 1 two-bedroom suite.

The hotel is built in 4.94 acres of a total area of 19.75 acres.  The remaining land is used for conservation and walking trails.

All the rooms include the following amenities:

 “My Home Intelligent System”, a king size bed, fine wood furniture, flat screen televisions with cable, wireless internet, international access telephones and a jacuzzi.

The innovative “My Home” system allows integrating the domotique functions to provide comfort, security and automation.

The Junior Suites are 70 sq meters (753.43 sq feet) each, have a king size canopy bed and in some cases, an additional single bed and an outdoor jacuzzi that will allow you to enjoy breathtaking views of the Arenal Volcano.

The Master Suites have a total constructions are of 140 sq meters (1506.94 sq feet). There are two bedrooms that allow a maximum occupancy of 4.  The master bedroom has a king size canopy bed and bath with jacuzzi, while the second room has two single beds and a separate bathroom.  Besides the standard features in all the rooms (both bedrooms have flat screen television sets), the Master Suite has a  private garden with outdoor swimming pool facing the volcano, a sitting area and a kitchenette.

The restaurant is 690 sq meters (7427 sq feet) and has been designed in a way that you will have an uninterrupted view of the volcano from anywhere in the building.  High arched ceilings and no doors provide a totally natural atmosphere.  You can select from a wide variety of Costa Rican and International Dishes prepared by the Chef.
